Postpartum Recovery and Infant Health

The childbearing year doesn’t end on your due date! We consider the three to four months post-partum to require the same attentive care for mom, though the issues are different.

In this class, we’ll look at post-partum recovery, “baby blues” and post-partum depression, breast feeding and complications, and other post-partum issues. We’ll discuss mom’s reclaiming of her body: weight loss, and returning to a more active life.

We’ll also cover infant health: mother and infant are so tightly tied in these first months, that what affects one, affects the other.

Whether you’re pregnant or you’re planning to be, or you care for women who are, this class is invaluable in preparing mother, father, and child for a strong healthy life! Special pricing if Mom and Dad sign up together!
